Default easiest way to get 180-190whp from a b18c?

I am a nonvtec boost guy and now my DA is stock again due to smog in cali. But now that my car is stock I was thinking about just dropping in a b18c(gsr) in my DA. But I would like to know what it would take to get 180-190whp from the engine without going into the block. I tried searching, but couldn't find anything exactly that I was looking for. Just want some feedback. thanks guys.

I wonder what 180-190whp in an integra would run at the track with good tires and suspension.

IMO it all depends on the header. These days there are so many better headers than the jdm 4-1 that even 200whp is not a big feat. **** omniman hit 200whp witha b16 and it didn't really have any crazy mods...

well... 190-200whp sound easy these days but reality is...
All Bolts ons (better intake, ccam gears etc...)
+ PISTONS i dont think stock USDM GSR's will go up there w/ stock pistons....

and for the integra questions about time slips @ track.
My ls-vtec went 13.5 @ 103mph w/ BF drags, no seats. WITH : 192whp

without pistons, 180-190 is not easy, unless you play with dyno, than 280 is easy...

even with a jdm gsr? With a 10.6 CR, thats as much as a usdm type R.

thats a nice time. I would be satisfied with a time like that from my integ. Was the car gutted? How did it do with street tires ?

My chart (like 4 post up) is legit, SAE corrected (.93 CF, ~50 degrees at 20% humidity) and on a dynojet. It made 207 uncorrected.

so basically, all you had were some good cams, a good flowing full exhaust, IM/TB and a tune. other than that it was a stock b18c. Thats very impressive.

I don't know how comparable a jdm gsr is to a a usdm itr engine (same compression), but if you poke around the itr forums, you can see 180-190 with just bolt ons.

Without any valvetrain upgrades, it seems that those folks who hit those numbers have most of the high end bolt ons, hytech/sms/mugen/toda/etc. And don't forget tuning!

You could just go for the JDM B18c-R and have 180whp right away.

If your just going to build the GSR motor after you buy it, might as well just get the type R.

I think the money you use on teh build will be close to equal the extra money for the Type-R.

My Stock 98 b18c-R motor with Whale ***** Intake, custom 2 1/4 inch Exhaust and Hondata S200 put down 177whp.

And besides you will have a better Tranny, a stronger bottom end and a Better head.

a friend of mine has a 2000 gsr with just an intake, type R 4-1 header, 2.25 custom exhaust, and BC3+ cams hit 181 on the dyno after tuning on Crome.. so yeah, its simple
