What springs do you guys think?
Okay, i am not new to h-t, but i am new to 7th gen civics. well I have done a search on springs and couldn't really find an answer to what i was looking for. Let me start that this is my girl's car. She doesn't want to ride low like my EK is. So i am doing her a favor and doing a slight drop so i am going with springs. I don't want to put full coilovers on her car. She blew her struts recently and she is tired of the "boat" like ride. So i have ordered her a full set of KYB GR-2 struts but i am stumped on what kind of springs to get her. Nothing dramatic but yet simple. These are my choices, Eibach Sportlines, Tein S Tech, H&R Sports. Please i need to do this before it gets further into the winter. Also I am also open to other suggestions. Thanks guys. Also i do not want to get any of the cheap ebay kits.

ive had both eibachs and h&R's i like the H&Rs a bit more . they are lower and they are made more for handling. the eibachs are made for a better ride at high speeds. when i had them i really didnt notice MUCH difference other then the back end of my car was really low and the front end was still pretty much stock. lol. they are both decent and affordable. but u will want your car lower if u get both. they just dont lower it enough. im going to be selling myne soon here. so i can get some coil overs.

i am very unhappy with my H&R's. They are very soft, and arent low enough for me.
if u want a little bit more agressive stance, ride but u still want it to be soft over bumps, then they might be for u. But if u want a car that handles like its on rails, they are DEFINATELY to soft for any really spirited driving.

This is her DD car, so she wants it to be a solid ride at the same time not too low compared to stock, she is just tired of how it floats and bounces when she drive it. Thanks guys for the info. I am thinking of nothing soft. i want it to have kind of heavier than stock but give it no more than 1.5" drop. I am now leaning towards the H&R's or the Tein S techs. Thanks again.
no go for eibachs. if she doesnt know how to go REALLLY slow over speed bumps. or even just look out for big pot holes in the road... anything over a 1.0'' drop will be too much for her. with my H&R's i scrap REALLLY bad over speed bumbs since the way the EM2's exaust was designed anyways. even getting into really steep drivways can be hard sometimes. i feel my whole underneeth hitting. then i hear my muffler going TING when i back out. get her eibachs there CHEAP and they put them on for u at any leshwab WITH lifetime waranty . u cant beat that.
progress springs are another option u have. i just posted some pix of how they look not to long ago
