How good is a Spray-Over Paint Job?
Okay, here is my situation, I bought my 95 accord from an old guy, who washed it alot, but NEVER waxed it, so my clear coat is not that great, I have had it detailed and waxed, but the coat fades within a few weeks.
I was thinking, I have a couple of scratches and a nice big ugly scratch/mark on my front bumper, I took it to Macco, and they have an Ambassador paint package, it includes All Prep Work and such, plus a "Re-Paint" of my current color with a new clear coat, its about $400 before tax.
Now with the "re-paint" will it look alot newer and such?
And how long will that paint job last before its back to how it is now? I wax my car every 2-3 months now and keep it REALLY clean. I hate dirty cars
And is $400 alot? Shold I check other prices first?
Thanks in Advance!

well..as it always has been..you get what you pay for..especially for $400 of course its gonna look better than it does now since it should have all dings and dents removed..as well as that big "scratch" that bothers you will be gone..but again..for $400 i dont see that type of paint lasting all that long..if you plan on keeping that car for a long time..then i would save up a little more and be truely satisfied with what you get done..
