Default Why did BOTI sizzle out?

BOTI use to attract all the big names.
Even all the big names from cali use to come out to the east.
What happened?

I dont know? But a lot more of us should support them more. Frank always runs great events. I know He is trying to do a lot to make 07 bigger and better.

I like running BOTI races also. Frank was the first promoter to take notice of me and try to help me grow in this sport. I think he has helped all the big names.

i agree 100%. this season, i'm looking to travel the whole series and show that its still alive and a great event. I wish more cars would go out to the events. i think part of the problem however, is the lack of uptalking from us. many people complain about the low payouts, but racers' numbers bring better payouts and better crowds; better crowds bring better sponsors, and better sponsors, bring better contingencies.

I think everyone should get out there and race the BOTI events, its always a great time, and just needs US to get back out there and support them.

Frank and all the Battle guys get 2 big thumbs up

The 1st year BOTi came to the NorthWest, there was some alot of competion. Alot of cars from NorCal and some made the trip from southern Cali. This year there was alot more local competion but I think the only car to make the trip out of Cali was Bisi.
I agree, we need to support BOTi more, and make it out to as many events as possable. Even if it is just as a spectater. Make 07' a great year.

we love running BOTI and the pay outs were great!! We look forward to running BOTI in 07 and if all goes well we will have three cars running as many events as we can afford to get to. Now if only Frank would get us that schedule

i love BOTI. our first event was BOTI fontana 2006. and we had a great time. 2007 will be dope we are bringing out 2 cars and i know 2 other people who are coming out. so hopefully we all can attend all the events and attract more crowds and sponsors. the more we support drag racing the more people will come

Maybe, I did not mean they sizzled out. I am not saying anything bad about them and everyone says they like the events. What I want to know is why did the pro counts drop. All of the big names used to run with them and now it is more of street car event.

I have a chance to win in BOTI running mid 10's

cant run events and pay the bills when people dont show up to watch...we are killing these racing bodies and show comapnies. If you dont support them they cant stay up and running ---- pure love for the sport doesnt pay the bills
