car cuts off for no reason..
92 ex with 150k miles. when cold or warm, the car will cut off while it is running and does not start right away. plugs/wires/cap/rotor are 45k old. problem has been happening longer then the 45k since parts have been replaced. it went away and now is back. any ideas?

Hey intelligent life does exist on this planet. Check simple thins like this before you go and waste a bunch of money.
Does it cut off only at idle or maybe at times when you are not on the throttle?

My 94 ex used to cut off randomly as i was driving. i had a new distributor so i knew that wasnt the problem. I checked my main relay and it was still fine. Then one day it just cut off one me while idling and i would restart it and it wouldnt stay running unless i held the key between ACC and ON. It turned out my ignition assembly had gone bad. I dont know if that's what you're experiencing but just in case:

Yeah me too, something like that.
It's these useless dicks that buy 100,000 mile wires for their hondas and think it'll actually last that long when expansion/contraction/humidity are factored in.

I had this same problem.
istop at a light and the car shuts off.
it was a loose battery cable.
also had a problem with not starting all the time. turned out to be a loose tranny ground. which i had checked by hand. but when i went to tighten had about 10 turns left to tighten with a ratchet
