Anyone know if the American International HONK830 install kit will work on a 1998 Acura Integra?

 

The best kit, IMO, for a 98 teg is the Metra 99-7892... http://www.metraonline.com/pro...e=ALL, if the American International looks like it, then it will fit, but if it is anything like most "multi" car/year kits, [Metra included] it will have "brake away" tabs/clips, do not trust the instructions on which ones to brake off, check carefully by "prefitting" the kit, and use the rear support. 94

 

Aww man. I ordered the wrong kit. Hopefully I can switch it out with the HONK828 since the order hasn't been finalized (Ordered through amazon seller).

 

I was going to say it was the HON-K809 or the HON-K828 as the HON-K830 is more of a multi/multi kit, allowing for both a single din and 2x single din and double din HU to be installed, it would still fit in your teg. 94

 

Yeah I just got done reading the application guide and the HONK830 and HON828 both work with the teg but the 828 is recommended. Since my product already shipped I guess the 830 will have to do.

 

Just got done installing the kit. Took a little modification to get it to fit. I'll post pictures in a little bit.
