Hey Im very new to the speaker installation and am eager to learn! I just purchased 2 10inch kicker solobaric's in a disclosed box and a Sony Xplod Amp 1200 Watts. I am wanting to hook it up but dont know where to start is there any wiring directions to get me started? Like i said im new and want to learn

 

Got an amp wiring kit with power, ground, remote & signal wires?

Factory or aftermarket deck?

 

Wiring?? B18C_EJ8 stated above get ur wiring kit.. Run your power wire from your battery thru ur firewall to your amp run your remote wire (the skinny one) from the back of ur head unit to ur amp. and ground ur ground wire and run it your ur amp.

Im blowing fuses though? im guessing its because my jl audio amp kit is only 300 watts wire i need to go bigger?

 

When are the fuses blowing? How big are the fuses? How big is the wiring? Where did you ground the unit? How big is your ground wire? What make/model amp do you have??
