motor not starting after swap...clutch sensor?
I just swapped the D15 in my civic for another one, same motor. Kept the old tranny. Finally got it all finished up today, went to start it and nothing happened, but there was a ton of slack in the clutch. Went to the clutch adjustment and tightened everything up, but the motor still won't try to start. Battery has 12V, its not even trying, something is keeping it from putting power to the starter. Where is the sensor for the clutch, perhaps that is bad? Any other ideas for stuff to double check?
Clutch switch is right above your clutch pedal. Make sure it has a clean contact with the pedal, or you can just jump the switch with a wire.
check all your fuses and grounds...is the starter hooked up properly...check the wire that goes from the starter to the underhood fuse box...ive seen people forget to hook that up

Sure why not, you might want to wire it to another switch so it not obvious.
As for your starting problem...Check your grounds to the engine/trans. if not hooked up or if they do not have good contact the starter will not crank.
