Default My new turbo upgrade project

What up H.T! just thought I share some pics of my upgrade project that I hope will be done before New Years, I just need a few more parts to compelet this. I got everything from Spoolinperformance, and Phil is an upstanding guy to deal with. Everything came out way sicker than I expected, much props to Phil and Spoolinperformace Oh this is going on a d16z6 by the way...enjoy!

IMG]http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p287/d16z6t/Ramhorn.jpg[/IMG]

The turbo is a GT2871R To4E .50 ar comp. w/4" inlet .63 ar 4 bolt turbine.
3" Downpipe to a DMH 3" E-cutout then V-band to 2.5" cat back
wastegate Dump tube is close loop
1/8 npt tap for EGT at the collector
Sumitracing coolant line with socketless -6an fittings

I will be using a -4an restricted to -3an fitting for oil feed because I'm currently using a -3an oil feedline and don't what to replace it If I don't have to. Can some confirm for me if this will be ok and safe to use? thanks ahead for your comments and help guys

Sick setup!

That ramhorn looks really tall, what chassis is this going in?

I love the downpipe with the ecutout right there. That's going to sound sick when the cutout is open. Very nice craftsmanship on all the parts too.

Well...it depends on how your looking at it. When I started my boost project I had a WHP goal, after all the research I decided to stick with my d16z6 for 300-350 whp. That decission alone saved me $3,000 on a swap which inturned... allowed me the extra cash to build the motor for my whp goal. So...no waste here

Dp is a 3" to E-cutout then 2.5" V-band to my exhaust system
300 whp on 91 pump and maybe little more with alcohol injection like 350-360whp

Its normally around 800ish, but I had spoolinperformance customize the down pipe to my liking and SS everyting.

Its all good B...I just want to make it clear of my intention in this project. I don't want people thinking I'm try'n to make 6oo whp and ****. I just checked out your setup and its tight man, good numbers from low boost and good power under the curve too

Thanks bro , well...hurry up and get rich so you can have both
Yeah I know how you feel, I had a 01' Honda RC51 1000R fully setup for race tracks and a 126mph crash at Thunder Hill sent the message that it was time to take a rest(rest not retire) from riding. I love the acceleration from 0-100 nothing else can get you there for 7-14 g's strait from the show room floor

Thanks It looks bigger than the normal GT2871R, but my SC50 looks bigger than this turbo. I was laughing when I got the turbo and saw how small the exhuast wheel was comare to my SC50. I guess technology brings big things in small packages
