Default Need help on b16a teg swap.

I am planning on putting a b16a into my 93ls integra to replace the b18a in it. I have a y1 tranny with an LSD in it. Is that a good tranny for 1/4mi racing? Or do I need to find a way to make it geared tighter? I'm not sure but I think the gear ratios on the y1 tranny were longer then used in a ys1 tranny they put into the gsr. My b18a tranny has a 4.4 final drive while the y1 tranny has a 4.25 final drive. Is it possible to swap the final drives? Also would I want to? Thx.

i was considering the same final drive swap but was told that you can't do it because the final drive is actually attached to the differential in the Y1 (instead of being bolted on) so you would have to swap the differential from the tranny with the 4.4 FD (and lose LSD) so its not worth it. anyone confirm this? also, the Y1 is tighter gearing than the LS tranny.
