Nice work. I think you have a minnor deisgn flaw though. But as far as I know, In order for it to be a functional divided manifold you must run 2 wg's and not have them linked togethere are they are in this design. Wouldnt combining the paired sided of the collectors defeat the purpose of a divided housing?

And it would probably be a lot easier to just run two wastegates.

the purpose of a divided housing is to optimize the exhuast pulses, on the collector you must must a 3>1 instead of 6>1 or in the case 2>1 instead of 4>1 the wastegate routing doesnt matter if its collected into a single tube/pipe, as long as its comming from each collector, looks good, post some pics when its done

but would cost twice as much for the wastegates, flanges, dumptube routing etc. dual wastegates are a b---h and really arent all they are worked up to be there are plenty of 1000hp+++ carrunning divided housing with a single wastegate, you just compensate for a single large wastegate rather then two smaller ones.

customer insisted on one 44mm wg. i wanted to run 2 38's

you think the tubes merge but they dont. i made a divider than runs the length of the 2-1 eg collector and also a divider for the 45 before the tial flange. it is in fact truely divided all the way until the wg plunger...

thanks for the comments guys, itll be done tomorrow.

and the guy runs a 1g with a half rad, shouldnt have any clearence issues.

That almost looks like a wide block out of a Mighty Max. Is this manifold going into a DSM and if so what generation? Gotta watch out for the subframe clearance and motor mount bracket clearance once the turbo is bolted on.

I know stock cars that come divided housings use only one wastegate INTERNALLY from the factory, so I think the engineers must be onto something.

Good luck with fitting the front motor mount bracket that bolts to the block. Hopefully the turbo doesn't end up hitting it from being too far down.

Yah, I just have to see now too.

I was going to say it would never clear the radiator or trans mount but I see its a drag car.

GL wit it.

To get the all the benefits of a divided collector/turbo design you must keep it divided all the way to the turbo. You need to run twin gates to keep it divided. Internally gated turbos wont effect the design because the wastegate flap is after the collector.

i doesnt matter it both pipes off each collector go to one wastegate, the are plenty of 1000+ hp cars (supras) running there divided setups the same way.
