Diamond Racing 13x8/13x7? and tires?
Anyone fit the diamond racing 13x8/13x7 rims on their EF?

I wanted to run a super wide street tire with about 200 treadwear, anyone have ideas?
I think stock wheels are about 5" backspace, so i would probably get 4.5-5". These wheels are cheap and relatively light for their width. I got a 90 hatch and i love the ghetto steelie look.

you need the 5" backspace, they fit fine 13x8 but will stick out a bit from the fender, you will be fine unless you are super slammed and the tire would slam into the fender
i think anyone would suggest not using a RACING wheel on the street, they are light YES but they are rated for smooth surfaces and can only take so much pressure, one pothole/bump at normal speed could damage it.
However i do know some V-Dub guys widen their steelies for the same effect, but theyre made of steel not aluminum, and they weigh a ton! i dont have any info on it, but maybe some quick googling could save my time =D

diamond wheels are steel and they do weigh a ton^^ they are pretty tough and im sure would be fine on the street,

would i be able to use 13x7 with 4.5" backspace (regular center, not fwd), I was looking at these tires:

I got those tires in 195/60/13, really good grip and wear for it's price. But they seem to chunk a little if you drive em' hard on rough surfaces. For all four tires i paid under 200 shipped. over all, i say they're really good tires for the price, and another good thing is that they have a wide variety of sizes for 13's.
