what is the flow of the radiator

Default what is the flow of the radiator

what directions does the radiator flow in ... i have never looked and or had any interest too but i am curious now...
??????from top head to radiator->lower radiator to back of block???????

The water goes from the radiator through the top hose into the engine. When the engine warms up, the thermostat opens and releases the water into the lower hose, and back to the radiator.

you have it backwards

you can fill the rad up half way and when it heats up you can see it coming out the top hose

so the flow is come from radiator into bottom hose through block into head and back to radiator... did i get it right lol

Maybe I was wrong. I just know that the top hose gets hot first, then when the thermostat opens, the lower hose gets hot.

there are probly many reasons the top hose gets warm first, one its shorter & closer to the block, & 2 that would be the inlet hose... where all the fluid is running from the engine into the radiator... remember the radiator is supposed to COOL the fluid....
but on the subjects... my car runs way too cold sometimes
