whats the most confortable ride that lowers a 92 civic pretty well?

 

i think eibach lowering springs are probably what your looking for

eibach is good, but I would also reccomend upgrading struts to something like kyb, koni, or tokico.

So true cause the stock shocks are made for stock springs

tein basic... are you talking about the coilovers from ebay for 600? or you talking about the 100 dollar ones from ebay?

 

im riding on some tokico blues and they're pretty straight

 

but what springs?

 

sprint springs 2.5drop and kyb agx are a good combo... it rides good for me

 

agx will blow out with a 2.5" drop, go with tockikos or koni's, your ride quality is all in the shocks not the springs. ive used tenzo **** springs on koni/neuspeed shocks and it rode perfect

by the time you buy springs and shocks, the money you spent could have bought full adjustable coilovers, the the right thing the first time, get full coils

I wouldn't say a full coilover setup is comfortable.

Eibach pro-kit i would have to say.

The best is eibach pro kit but the drop is not nearly enough!!! I hate that

 

Yeah i know eibach makes amazing springs but the pro kit is not enough. H&R sport is nice cause i like that lean alltile forward.

have you ever even own kyb's or are you going by the rumors, i've rode mine with 2.5 maybe more for more then 3 years and they're still good, i/ve owned tokicos they're aren't really different in ride but i do trust does more then kybs but in the other hand i alredy have 3 year and counting with my kybs... so it's mostly preferance

 

Comfortable low ride? Your best bet is going to be air ride on that one.

 

what about neuspeed?? my friend is sellin sum he used on his del sol for 50 bucks????

I disagree. My buddy has full Megan Racing coilovers on his DC5, it's rides like stock and looks mean as hell.

Neuspeed I had them on my Accord with the illuminas and they rode perfectly fine for 3 years and counting.

 

Riding on Tein S and KYB adjustble no problems whatsoever.

im going by what kyb tech support told me, i had a set a few years back, i sold them cause kyb told me they will blow out with more than a 1.25" drop and even on there stiffest setting they cant handle a 250lb spring. i bought them for $150 for all four new from a friend, so i didnt mind selling them for $280

glad to hear yours are doing good though, nothing sucks more than blown out shocks.

i learned that the hard way, i spent $320 on Swift springs and $510 on neuspeed shocks that = $830 i could have got coil overs for sure!! im an idiot i know.

 

C i dont mind that much being on the springs its just depends what u r going to do with the car. I want it to buy the tein basics but right now im going to go with the H&R limited editiona nd illuminas for my civic.
