ya but hes been waiting over 4 months... hes obviously given it some time.

online businesses like this are kinda a hit or miss unless the person has a huge rep. even then its not for sure.

I'm just trying to understand what takes people 4 months to make a manifold for a guy. I mean, i am sure alot of these guys get backed up. Honestly though I never make people wait beyond a month. If I can't get it to them faster than that I have to simply turn them away....and that's doing local business. I haven't even attempted to sell any online. I dont' like it, but that's the way it goes.

If your getting backed up 4-5 months and your bustin your ***, you need to hire some help. At least a non-welder doing mockup for you or something.

Exactly. The reason why I only make manifolds for the locals. Online is too much hassle and honestly too much business for me to handle alone.

Although, I had my GF out fitting and mocking up a few manifolds when I am short on time and the customer needed something by a certain date.

She does good working grinding pipes to fit. Wait til I get her to tig. That is gonna be sweet.

Even 2 months is pretty rediculous, unless you guys originally agreed on that.

3rd that! The most I had customers wait is 2 weeks and it was only because of back orders on supplies.

No really, you live and learn....it's no fun to have pissed off people blowin up your phone. My life is stressful enough...I've learned to turn **** away. I started heading down that road, feeling swamped, you just simply have to put a stop to it and catch up. When you've caught up, you learn from it. That's my deal. When I can handle doing online business I'll cross that bridge, until then I'm fine where I'm at.

i sent money via paypal.

it really sucks. no contact in like a month. last email was a month ago telling me to relax and that its comming, and hes not out to rob money.

i mean to me it is a theft....just because you mean to make it at some point, the terms which we agreed on when i paid him last year have GROSSLY been breached. i mean this isnt like a few days, or a few weeks. it MORE than a few months as well. i decided to pay someone because i diddnt have time. this is rediculous, looks like he doesnt have time either, but that diddnt stop him from taking my money.

Do me a favor...just leave as quickly as you came. Your obviously some douche whose already been here, and are merely attempting to come up with some excuse to defend your shitty practices.

If you get 50 orders your up front with every one of them on time frame. You say take the money or they walk...well yeah your right. If you told them up front, hey I just got 50 orders they certainly should walk. That's business there bud...you do what you can handle, and you take it in stride. You work your way up the pole, and gain rep from making **** on time.

I have owned two businesses in my time, and the first went down the ******* because of a partner with a mentality like yours...sole proprietorships from here on out. You have to expand your business with structure so it can support itself, yet not fall on its face if the orders drop suddenly. It's simple business principle man...now take a hike CC.

hey jerk off....

i dont give a crap why its late. im sorry, but when you spend like 500-600$ for a after market car part and are told a certain time frame, I really dont care why its late. the fact is im being told its late months after its late, and then its like pulling teeth to get any information. the only information i get it, "im really busy, a new shop, its comming soon".

give me a damn break, i dont care who is in a cast, and why he is in a cast. that sucks for you, but how about the money i spent?? tough crap right? WRONG! thats the price of doing business jerk off.

i think its funny how I am the bad guy because i complain my manifold is like 5 months late, and I dont get any contact and the emails bounce.

i should be more understanding....

you know like i said, i dont care WHY its late. fact is it is late, and im not even given a song and dance why its late. im told once in the last few months, "i got a new job", and thats it! literally.

i paid money on time. how about you send em a bill, and i tell you why i cant pay for the work you did because this that and the other thing? are you the understanding person you expect me to be when its your money on the line???

doubt it, and if you are, you should be working for like red cross, and not for yourself.
