Motor mount movement?
Just wondering how much visible movement a solid motor mount should have? Should there be no movement whatsoever, or are slight movements kosher?
By that I mean, when I hit a bump I feel a vibration from the front of the car. Yesterday I turned down my idle in order to cause the motor to bog a little and start to vibrate, and I noticed that my driver's side mount vibrates visibly. Is this a bad thing? It was my understanding that solid motor mounts were supposed to be completely stationary.

Bump, can anyone give me an answer? People keep telling me that mounts tend to have some type of movement, but I don't believe solid mounts are supposed to move at all.

Innovative, but when I had hasport mounts they did the same thing. I switched mounts thinking it would solve the problem. I think I'm just gonna go to a shop and show them the vibration and ask them to stabilize the mount somehow.
