Default ARC box?

I forget where I read it before, but I beliece ARC is producing an intake for the new Si's.

Did anyone else hear this to, or have any more information on a release date?

Really!! I emailed Mackin about this recently. I was curious if they were going to give us some love.

Will be interesting to see what kind of numbers this intake will produce.

Definitely on my "to buy" list

They never have super great peak numbers, but they do amazing on throttle responce and low to midrange hp.

What do you think the difference would be in low to midrange compared to Injen CAI?

ARC makes some dope *** ****... but for intake, i'd much rather have AEM CAI over some box that sits in the hot *** engine bay

I knew I should've waited for a different company, I've heard so many bad things about AEM when it came to the intakes.... blah, mines worked out fine, but alot of other people are having issues with them.... is injen really that much better?

... Oh and on a side note...

I know this is a noob question, and maybe kinda dumb, but I heard you can conver an aem cai into an sri... any validity here?

does your intake pipe have 2 pieces that you had to assemble together while installing? or is it one long tube?

You CAN cut it in half... and have a short ram, then use the ... lil rubber clamp thingys... (forget their name) to put back to CAI status

With the AEM I know it comes multi pieced... hell I'll try later today and report in the morning. What's life without experimentation right?
