Anybody knows a way to refurbish stock plastic wheel covers on Accord?
The paint is coming off my wheel covers on winter tires, anyway i can refurbish them? Anybody done this before?
thanks!
thanks!
just sand them, prime them with plastic high temp primer and paint them with high temp paint.
ummm buy new ones? Or dont use em at all... The wheels are suppose to have this clear coat so they don't fade or chip away. Next time don't use harsh detergent. I only use what I wash my car with.
wheel paint comes in a standard silver, unlikely one needs hi temp for covers.
and yes, best to follow up w/clear coat spray-thou i usually don't for laziness.
also those wheel cleaners can be killers. wash covers like rest of car and wax them on a regular schedule like rest of car.
