Attention DX owners.....
Aftermarket powerdoor locks are possible. Best Buy has successfully put in ONE power door lock on my car, for now. Couldn't finish due to time constraint. But I have an appointment set up for the whole day Wednesday to finish the other three doors. It is mated to the Viper 350 HV alarm. So here's the deal. Our doors have cable locks, not the traditional rod style locks. So an additional kit is required. Check out this link for detailed, illustrated explanations. http://www.a1electric.com/cable_locks.htm Similar kits can be found on ebay as well. So here's my experience with Best Buy. It took the two installers a long time to complete my driver side door, and that is because they didn't check out the pictures on this link ahead of time. When they finally did hop on the website themselves, they completed my already torn apart door, in 35 minutes. So my guess is, with running the wires, and disassembling + assembling each door panel plus the kit install, it's probably an hour a door. So realistically, with alarm and for four doors, it's a whole day process for someone that's familiar with this car. If you're interested, my advise is to speak ahead of time and make friends with your installers, and familiarize him with this particular kit, as it is something still pretty new to them.Total cost for me, about $450 plus a lot of my own time and many trips back and forth to best buy.
ps. sorry, no picture Kroze, everything in a power door lock is hidden behind my door, so I don't know what I can show you. But check out the site and you'll have an idea of what to get into.

Just take this post as "useful info for EXISTING DX OWNERS", rather than "why not's".
