When I was driving my car today I noticed that my volt meter was just jumping around like crazy then it would just stay put where it would normally be. It would just keep doing this over and over. Could my alternator be going bad? Let me know, thanks

 

yeah voltage regulator is part of the alternator so it's very possible

 

instead of starting a new thread I thought I would just keep this one. If I were to get a new alternator what would I get it for. I have a mini-me swap...d15b2 bottem end and a d16y8 head. I didn't change the alternator when I did the mini-me swap so I'm guessing I would get one made for the d15b2. Thanks
