Default Kenwood DVD player installation questions?

I'm trying ot wire this all up, but I can't figure a couple of things out.

1) Parking Sensor Wire: This is to make sure you can't watch DVD's while driving I'm assuming. If I ground this than it will be bypassed and DVD's can play whenever, right?

2)Reverse Sensor Wire: Why do I have to connect this to my reverse lights and how do I go about doing it?

3) Power Wire: There are 2 power wires (one from the harness on the DVD player, and one on the harness that goes into the car where the factory radio is), why do I have two power wires? Do I need to connect them both to the battery directly or what?

Thanks for the help...this is kind of confusing to be honest...

Check the wiring diagram that should be in manual. Most of the time you can just ground the parking wire. Check the wiring diagram for the reverse light and if the power wires your talking about are suppose to be a constant or ignition power.

I have the wiring diagram in front of me, that's why I am confused. Why do I need to connect this wire to my reverse lights? What if I skip it...someone has to know!!

Update:

I figured everything out except the reverse lights...I still want to know what those are for and if I can just ground it.

Reverse light hook up is only needed if you have a rear view camera. When you put the car in reverse the screen will automatically give you the picture of the rear view camera.
