Default ipod w/ oem radio?

Is it possible to use Ipod nano w/ a oem radio? I really dont want to upgrade to a new head unit.

I searched, but every thread deals with aftermarket head units.

What kind of car do you have and what kind of stereo is in it? AM/FM/CD only? Does it play cassette?

So it looks like your best bet is to use an FM transmitter. It will broadcast sound from the iPod to your car stereo, using an unused FM station, like 88.1 or so.

Go ahead and read that thread I posted earlier. I posted a picture in that thread of a Monster Cable FM transmitter. It retails for about $80 (not sure what your budget is), and not only does it broadcast sound, it also charges the iPod so that it will never run out of battery power. A chick I'm dating uses this cable in her car.

If your stock HU is a CD changer control unit, you can get an adapter that plugs into the changer port, you should be able to Google anything from simple AUX input adapters to something line the new BlitzSafe universal iPod adapter...

Or one of these... http://www.google.com/search?s...adios 94
