Default Clutch Cable for B18B in 91 CRX

I'm having some issues with a clutch cable not fitting right. I just dropped a 96 B18B1 with 92 YS1 tranny into a 91 CRX DX. It was originly an automatic so I bought a CRX SI clutch cable. A few people said to use the stock cable and I don't see how this thing will fit right. The other people said it wouldn't work and I should get a 90-93 Integra cable.
The CRX Si cable will obviously mount inside the firewall to the pedal board. Under the hood where the bottom part of the cable mounts to the push arm on the tranny it will go in. But the threaded part is way too short to reach up to the bracket where you mount it to adjust the tightness.
Does anyone have a clue what I'm talking about and how to solve the problem? Do I really need a 90-93 Integra cable? Many people say they use the stock one on a B series swap but in my case I can't see it happening unless something is really wrong.
