Had the car for a bit. Havent posted pics because I been having too much fun driving it. So here it goes.

I got the car for 36,300 OTD w/ ****-like cali taxes.....this was with employee pricing....2250 below invoice.


Tarmac Black Evo MR w/ appearance package!!!!

This is the rarest MR color....so I had to do it. The paint is cheaper than Honda paint, but I still love the color....it looks purple in daylight haha.

Got about 250 miles on it so far and haven't gone past 5K or 60% throttle and sadly enough it's still faster than the ITR when driving like a granny. It is a very fun car and reminds me a lot of the ITR. The interior especially looks ITR-ish and the quick ratio steering feels like the R, but the power is very very VERY different!!!

These brakes are going to be sold soon for the 14" Stasis/Alcon setup...so somebody else can have em before they turn brown

Sick! Always liked EVOs... A shade under $40,000 is a bit too much for me though.

 

The way I figured it....is the only other car I would have bought would either be an M3 or a GT3 and this one was the cheapest and most mod friendly......I'll save the GT3 RS for another year.....sigh

My local dealership has a Tarmac Black MR and pretty certain (99%) that it also has the appearence pkg.... Just a heads up if anyone was looking. They also have a 05' Evo 8 in silver on the used lot. 1 owner 10k miles local car I was looking into, But IM NOT parting with my R either way..... Happy Holidays and enjoy the new toy.....

 

so you still have the ITR, but daily drive the evo? i've driven the MR, its not bad. but i still get more head turns in my ITR.

That's really nice looking . Not available in Canada so it's a rareity to even see one. I'd love to take one for a spin. I've driven/bagged on an STi, if that's even remotely close to an Evo.
