Default 05 accord electrical problem

I need help, my Accord is coming off warranty and I'm having trouble with my headlights at nite. The dealership can't find anything wrong, so I'm hoping someone out here might be able to diagnose the problem. So here goes.
1. Headlights dim for split second then return to normal. This happens at approx
1800 rpm and I believe when the transmission [ automatic] is shifting up into
another gear. This is only noticable at nite, but I'm sure it's doing it during the
day if the headlights were turned on.

If anybody can shed some light on this it would be very much appreciated.

Tranny is pulling power causing your headlights to dim. Seems normal, especially with the tiny alternators that honda puts in.

A junk battery may be preventing the alternator from providing enough power for the electrical system. I'd check the battery first and then alternator output... I've heard of this happening with power windows, but that's normal.
