Alabama del sol, jdm gsr swap...check it out.
1994 Honda civic Del Sol S with JDM B18C GSR swap, 180 hp, DOHC VTEC. The engine is basically stock with mild set up for daily driver, Vtec pull hard, motor runs smooth, quiet and strong. Before the motor put in the car, head and block was separated to clean up the entire engine, mild polish the head, 3 angle valve job, clean up all the dirt that stick at the side wall, put all new seals, put new head gasket, took out the oil pan and replaced new oil pan gasket, new OEM gsr oil pump, again, clean up as much as I can to make it runs good. About 45,000 miles on the engine when I did the swap, put about 20,000 miles since then. Targa top, summer car, fun to drive.
Modification:
-Intake, stock in take with K&N drop in
-DC sport header 2.5” collector
-Vibrant exhaust 3” (it is loud when Vtec kicks in, but I have another muffler to throw in if the buyer doesn’t like it too loud)
-Polish head, 3 angle valve job.
-ACT stage 2 clutch
-Finanza 7.5lbs flywheel
-CTR lightweight crank pulley
-New Hankok RS-2 in front, rear tires are about 80 percent tread left
-P-72 tune with PYR
-NGK plug wires
-Del Sol VTEC cluster
-Stock Del Sol rims (came with 13”steel rims when I bought it)
Maintenance:
-Mobile one fully synthetic oil (5w-30) ONLY, every 2K miles
-New front brake pads
-New Timing belt, water pump, alternator belt
-New battery
-New thermostat
-New seals and gasket (ALL) like valve cover gasket, header gasket, rear and front main seal, intake manifold gasket……
-New radiator hose and cap
-New fuel filter
-New gsr fuel pump
-New oil pump
-New OEM head gasket
-New NGK-R spark plug and wires
-New distributor, rotor button
-New CV axle, both side
-New transmission fluid (mobile one synthetic)
-Just adjust the valve 1k miles ago
Bad thing about the car:
-Little peeling on the hood, little faded on the side of the trunk, little scratches at the rear bumper. (See pictures).
-One of the front fog light broke.
-Rear window, passenger side window not in working condition, driver side window works fine.
-No casset or CD player.
-No A/C and power steering.
The car is in perfect running condition, no leaking, no burning oil, no overheating, no check engine light, no dent on the header and no problems at all on the engine. No power steering, no A/C tho, heater works fine. I have put a lot of time and money on the car, love it but have to sell for another beginning project. 94 and above DC2 gsr, 98 and above Accord 2 or 4 door, 97 and above prelude stick shift, 92-95 eg6 swap or non-swap is fine, GMC truck, F150, Chevy silverado, dorge ram. Let me know if you have something like that, we will work something out.
