95 integra stock 250kms will it blow?
i m new to honda , and my new ice race slash IT car is a 95 integra , i did all the maintbce stuff, ie t belt water pump , ect ect , but when i switched over to my swepco race oil it seems to smoke , not alot , but some under hard acclerations , is this a concern?
Its anyone's guess whether your Teg will blow. Was it owned by a lame 16 y.o. shift-missing street racer wannabe on adolescent hormones or a 75 y.o. grandmother with a church habit? Or perhaps, someone in between? If your car smokes a bit, that's no indication whether a blow up is imminent.
Is it white smoke, blue smoke, or black smoke? White smoke (actually this white plume is superheated steam) is caused by coolant entering into the combustion area and is usually caused by a blown head gasket. Check your coolant level and look for signs that oil has entered the coolant. And look in your oil for signs of water contamination (a chocolate milk-like appearing substance in the oil).
If the smoke is blue, then it could be worn piston rings or perhaps worn valve seals. This is common for high-mileage cars since each of the above parts are high wear items.
If the smoke is black, then your car could be running very rich due to a leaky injector or faulty sensor.
Is you check engine light on? If so, check the code and see if that could be your problem.

I run about half a dozen HPDEs a year in my street Integra GSR. She has ~236k miles on the clock and runs great. High mileage is always a crapshoot though, I would run it though
On track I run 10w40 Castrol GTX and on the street I run 10-30 or 5-30 (whatever is on sale) and it doesn't burn much, maybe a half a quart over the course of a day (300 miles) on track.
