Default tial gt35r exhaust housing

I hope this isnt a repeat thread, but my buddy showed these pictures to me. I really dont know much about it other then its made for a gt35r to replace the Garrett parts and it connects to a manifold via a vband clamp. Oh, and it looks sexy as hell.

I noticed this on John Shepherds DSM this past racing season. I wasn't able to find out where to get it, until PRI in orlando this month. Tial carries them but I believe they are only made for Garrett turbos and not Precision.

Wow, those look nice, but mechanically speaking, it's not that special. I know it's overpriced bling, but I still like it.

Precision turbos are garrett turbos with precisions housings on them...

and HKS has used this technology for years. it makes it so easy to work on a car...

Not sure if you were just using that picture as an example, but that looks like a GT30R to me.

that would be killer

cool concept, but no manifolds are built like that with vband... unless its custom made

What's nice about the Vband on the inlet of the turbine, allows for you to clock the way the turbo sits slightly in proportion to the manifold and clearance around the turbo before making the DP

these are going to be released for the gt28-42 as far as i've heard, and they start around 250ish for the 28 and go up from there. I think the 42 housing is like 350give or take and its 16lbs lighter than the 1.01 garrett housing

BTW, I wonder if they are making a GT40/42R housing with a round V band inlet flange like that!

It would save me some fab work, and space with my new T4 manifolds coming out.
