My EM1 got stolen last night.. read for details..
So my FBP EM1 got stolen last night. Yesterday when I went to my car in my driveway and hit disarm/unlock on my remote, I noticed the horn did not sound but the doors unlocked. I thought it was just a blown fuse or somethin not workin with the horn so I thought nothing of it. As far as the alarm, it was a Chapman/code alarm running off the cars stock horn. Last night I got in at 1am, played rainbow six till 4am, came outside today at noon and my car was gone. I live in a very quiet town where there is very minimal crime etc. Cop said a car hasn't been stolen here in years. Only thing I can think of is that recently I posted askin about what speakers I should get, and included that I currently have an alpine 9855 deck and JL 10w7 sub. Other than that the only thing I can think of is just word of mouth of people tellin people about my car and stuff I have done to it. Anyway, I want to list my parts and hopefully people can keep an eye out for my parts bein sold, especially comin from New England area.
Parts are as follows:
Drag Gen 3 turbo kit including:
Turbonetics T3/T4 50 trim .63a/r (polished)
Tial 38mm wastegate
Walbro 255 in-tank fuel pump
Blitz dual drive bov
and then the rest of the usual drag parts
RC 440cc injectors
Hondata s2b
B&M fuel pressure regulator (blue)
P28 ecu/boomslang harness
Defi D gauges-Boost and air/fuel
Greddy profec b spec 2 boost controller
Omni 2.5" test pipe
Greddy Evo 2 exhaust
ACT heavy duty clutch
Tokico illumina shocks/eibach pro kit springs
Fiber Images c/f hood
Alpine 9855 deck
Escort passport 8500 (red leds) radar detector
Omni 2.5" test pipe
Greddy Evo 2 exhaust
Greddy boost controller with harness was in the trunk in box
If anyone has any advice on insurance stuff like getting money back for aftermarket parts please let post or let me know. Heres a few pictures from a long time ago and a couple crappy ones of the motor after the turbo kit install.

Damn thats pretty sad they were probably trying to steal your car the day before and just disarmed the alarm and came back to finish the job. Thats sad .
******* thieves
I had to chase my EG down at 3 in the morning to get it back...and it's still not the same.
I hope they catch the *******...best of luck.

About the valet thing, nah I didn't do anything with the alarm they came and did that the night before apparently.
At this point the only thing realistic that would feel good about the situation is if they caught who stole it. Of course also if the insurance company will cover a bunch of the aftermarket stuff.

Ya I'm in seekonk a lot. I work at best buy in seekonk so I'm there everyday and around rt 6 often in general. Ya def please keep an eye out, even for any of my parts.
If anyone sees any of my parts for sale anywhere please post or let me know. At this point I don't even want to build another car since it will just happen again. I don't know what I'm gonna do about a car.
I'm waiting to meet with the insurance adjuster to talk about it and see whats gonna happen about all the aftermarket parts. Does anyone have any advice about things I can say to them or anything about it besides having receipts?
Alls I have to say for everyone is take every measure in securing ur car. Be smart about it in general, get a good alarm, have it installed professionally (having them hide the brain and everything not just tuck it under the dash and having wires and everything easily accesable for theives), and if you park in a bad area use extra measures like a clutch lock, club on the wheel, etc. Yes if a theive really wants it they can get it if they know what they're doing, but the more layers of security you have, the longer it will take them to steal it and the less it will make them want to go through every layer and actually steal it. Have starter/ignition kills, fuel cuts, take fuses out if it's a bad area your parking in, pull the ecu, etc.

My em1 was stolen from a local mall afew years ago. I had bought the car for about 13.5 and had about 10,000 put in to it. I had full coverage and my insurance co. still only offered me 11 to start, but I hassled until I received 14. They do not care about aftermarket parts even if you have receipts. All they will say is "we will replace with oem not aftermarket".
