Default SMS ITR Header(new)...

Merry Christmas to me! Dave as awlays has made a awsome product with top notch craftsmanship and detail!

The Header is a Mild Steel, One Peice, Prototype Design from Dave for the ITR. I will let him chime in with specs and other questions that you may have. This header will be going on my H2 prepped ITR. It will replace the OEM JDM 4-1 that has been on the car for years. Car with60k AC&PS, Comptech Icebox, K&N e2427, JDM 4-1, test pipe, full 60mm exhaust made 187whp 129trq. New Dyno to come asap.

Pics....Header was coated by JetHot in there Black finish. Thanks Dave!!

Looks like Dave's famous Tri-Y header......ya know what that means; get ready to blow a dyno up.

Seriously, dave makes THE absolute best headers when you combine customer service, price, and craftsmanship. The extra power you make from your worn (most likely) DC 4-1 is just a bonus.

Somewhat the same header. Dave has made a few changes for this design.

This is our new style 1 Piece 4-2-1 header for the B series. This version uses (3) true merge collectors, like the multi piece header, where as the previous version used (1) true merge for the secondaries and (2) pseudo merge collectors at the primaries. These pseudo merge collectors were made with the primary tubes touching each other, so the there wasn't the standard "point" or sharp edge that a true merge has.

I think I like the black better than the natural stainless.

There aren't a lot of them out there, 95+% of the guys go with the standard silver.

I'll have to double check with Jet Hot but it MAY also be able to handle higher temps.

My RMF was black jet coated... and now It's starting to get rust spots. I wouldn't pay for it again.

I know with the silver coating on my first header lasted about 2 years(15k miles). Daily driving in the northeast, winter, snow, rain, etc...

It had some corrosion and rust on the surface. When I sold it the buyer got it re coated and it looked brand new.

if it was done by jet hot they have an unconditional re-coat policy. where if you dont like it, they will do it once within 3 years. and i think its got a lifetime warranty against rust.
