Default Loosing antifreeze and metal shavings in oil

A buddy of mine has a 99 gst Yea I know its a dsm not a honda but seeing if any body could help me out. He is loossing antifreeze and there is metal shavings in the oil every time he checks the oil,and he thinks antifreeze might be coming out of the exhaust. Could it be a head gasket?

If he's got antifreeze comming out of his exhaust, yea he's got a headgasket for sure. There's actually a colored dye you can buy to put in your gas and/or antifreeze, I believe most commonly it's purple. Then once the car warms up you can see where it would be leaking at as to where the colored dye comes out. As far as metal shavings in his oil, that sounds like somethings grinding the living hell out of your pistons. He's gonna be having some engine problems for sure.

Ha I was going to say crankwalk and was trying to figure out why there was a leash on the crank in the picture ha yeah im a little slow today, back to bed i think

So yeah sounds like he needs a headgasket possibly but it doesnt matter anyway because the crank is walking so needs a new crank, possibly block too.

Walk crank, walk. Out of seriousness though, it might be crankwalk it might not be. My buddy's 95 gsx blew up. We tore it apart, and one tiny part of the headgasket was torn, along with part of the head being warped.

The rust on there is from the block sitting from a while, just a FYI haha.

Edit: Sorry for the first picture being humungo. Please don't e-beat me.
