Default "Sticky" clutchpedal?

I just bought a 2000 S2k, and it's wonderful, except for the clutchpedal, which acts a little odd...
When the car is cold, it feels just like any other clutchpedal, smooth and light, but when the car heats up, it gets hard at the point where you can change gear (my english is rubbish, so I'm not explaining this well), and if I press it in just a tad more, it feels a little sticky before it comes back out... if I press it beyond this point, it becomes smoot again for the rest of the travel, but sticks again at the same point when coming back out..
Is this normal? Can it have been fiddled with by a previous owner? Or is something wrong?

Thanks
JT

You may have air bubbles in the clutch hydraulic system. Flush/bleed.

do you feel like something is grinding at the very low of the pedal?

if so that would be the casting of the slave cylinder push rod, which could be polished
