Default 2004 ELEMENT - ISSUES WITH BRAKES!

My parents have a 2004 element and they are encountering a brake issue with the brakes feeling like the pedal has to be pressed all the way down to get the brakes to stop quickly. Vehicle is still under warranty and has 15,000 origional km's on it. So far, Honda has replaced the brake master cylinder under warranty and still appears to have the same issue. I am asking if anyone else appears to have the same feeling, we have test drove different years of elements and brakes feel better on the newer one but seems the "04 is all feeling similar. Thanks in advance.
P.s Honda is also going to replace master cylinder again....

The dealer should check the brake pedal free play. Should be only 1-2mm, I think. There is an adjustment to lessen that. Basically, it sets the clearance between the pedal push rod and the plunger on the brake master cylinder. Something to check after replacement of the brake MC. Other than that, maybe a seal on the booster is leaking?

One thing that I have noticed about the Elements is that they rear brakes wear out very fast. If not fast, then the pads usually get stuck in the brackets, or the rear caliper seizes. I've noticed that seized calipers can sometimes cause excessive pedal effort.

But I too, have noticed that on CRV's and Elements, the brake pedal does seem kind of low, but the customer doesn't complain so I just let it be. No point in looking for trouble.
