As far as helmets\rollcages. When does it become manditory to have a helmet or rollcage?

im pretty sure on these
11.99 and under you need a cage, scatter shield for tranny, helmet.
11.99-13.99 helmet
13.99-x nothing cause its slow.

 

I thought it was 12.99 and under have to wear helmet. I usually don't see vette guys with helmets.

 

Depends on the track officials and how lient they are. But for here, it's 13.99 and under requires helmet. Sometimes I can squeeze by and run a few times w/o one. It's uncomfortable so I leave it off til the staging lanes. If they tell me to put it on, I will...but if they don't, then I run w/o it.

 

once you break into 11's you need cage and etc..... other than that depends on the track ....

 

Honestly, It depends if your at an NHRA track or not.

11.99 and under means a 4-pt ROLL BAR, Helmet and a Scatter Shield.

a local track requires a parachute when you start to hit trap speeds in excess of 140mph along with the other rules...

 

i dont think any honda is going to be running 140mph in the 1/4

 

there are quite a few honda's over 140mph trap speeds..... then again not street cars haha

I usually drive 25 mph back up the return road and have my helmet off before getting timeslip. Track Steward asks if I wore my "hat"....

stock GT2's run 11.9 does that mean u need to ruin a perfectly beautiful porsche by ripping out the interior to put in sum dumb roll cage when u go to the strip??!?

some tracks enforce it more then others , some tracks even do'h you hit mid 13's dont required helmets but some do
