I was starting to hook up the vacuume lines on my b16 crx swap and when i tried to hook up the two that are supposed to go to the throttle body only one was there. I realized that the vacuume connection right above the center of the throttle body was jb welded shut. What does this one do and is it nessesary for the car to run correctly.

that's only for the charcoal canister (emisions) so it wont cause the car to run bad,,,but who the hell does that when you can just use one of these?
