Default 10.2" Front brake upgrade woes

I am in the process of installing the 10.2 rotors and Accord calipers (as mentioned in the easiest brake upgrade you never knew about thread) I am putting these on a 1990 Civic HB
My delima is this..using 10.2 rotors, Accord calipers stamped 17CL15VN and the mount stamped 25T and using the 1/4" spacer as per the instructions in the thread, the drivers side matched, and lined up perfectly.
The passengers side however, when test fitted to the car w/o a rotor, the outside pad is not out far enough. It looks (by looking at the front of the mounted caliper across to the front of the hub) it is not even far enough to clear the hub. Any one have any suggestions? Is it possible that this car at one time had a different right side knuckle, rotor caliper assembly put on?

it is possible that you have non matching knuckles. but if yor doing 10.2 on the stock knuckles they should all be the same. i would go over everything first just to make sure something isnt on incorrectly first.

BTW, it's not a 1/4" it's 1/8". Something is not right though if it worked fine on one side and not the other. May just have to shim it out with a spacer or washers.

I just went and pulled abother knuckle I had hoping that somewhere down the line the rotor, caliper, hub, knuckle, etc had been changed from another car. Well that is not the case..it is exactly the same, the problem has to be in the bracket that mounts to the knuckle.

If I was to shim it out I would be looking at going at least an inch and a half for it to line up. I think I have other issues.
