3 Piece rims??

Wheels are wheels. As long as they're round, straight, crack-free, hold air, and fit the car and tires, they will work.
If you are unsure of compliance with your competition sanctioning body's rule set with regards to size/offset, then read the rule book!

because its stronger and lighter
