Timing and the timing belt ??

I have a question...i know i have to have a timing gun but can anyone give me a reference site for adjusting timing?

Its down on the crank shaft pulley. You will see timing bars when the timing gun pulses. You will adjust the dizzy to alignment spec for that car.
