Sounds sketchy.. 2k miles and the person selling is the SECOND owner...?
Personally I wouldnt waste my time/money trying to fix an 06 with a Salvage title... not worth it IMO... absolutley no resale value and god only knows what the poor Civic has gone thru in its short life. Sounds like possible suspension or even frame damage and then some
good for a serious project or drag car

hah yeah thats what i meant by builder car... Cheap, and who knows, it might not be all that bad in the end. Either way... not too bad. Could be parted out for decent money too.
Dude sounds retarded. 17k w/salvage title?
Sorry but his depreciation hit is going to be a lot higher than that.
I mean if his reserve is like 12k then it makes sense but I don't see him getting 17k for that.

bidding says 11k. that is just way to shady. that new of a car with a salvage title and 2 owners... no thanks. if an insurance company lists a car as totalled, it has to have a significant amount of damage (money to fix would have ot be alot more than the damage he stated). someone put that car through the grinder or something. when a deal is too good to be true, it usually is. so

Glad to see the reserve wasn't met. After reading the first paragraph, I stopped. The last bid was 11,400. Wouldn't have paid a penny over 10k for a salvaged vehicle. I have seen numerous vehicles that have multiple, continuous problems issues when they are considered salvage.
Here is what I think happened. The car was made in May 06 (one of the first released). The owner majorly wrecked it shortly after purchase. The vehicle was totaled. This guy bought it and tried to fix it up. However, there are still underlying issues.
Message to all of you. Do not buy a salvaged vehicle unless you expect to constantly fix it.
