Cant smog my car?? WTF?

whats up guys, I got a car about 2 weeks ago and I took it to get smogged and the shop told me that they couldnt fine the obd2 plug under the dash. I took it to another smog shop and they told me the same thing. Its a 2000 civic si, is this common? where can it be located. I think i am going to tear apart my dash inorder to find it. Thanks for your help.

btw: I know its supposed to be located right next to the hood release/under steering wheel. Ant other spots?
