Is it just me or does my Type-r show dings easy. Plus when i tap the body it seems really really soft and Im afraid even to lean on it. Also I have some minor dings and was wondering of a paintless dent removal will do the job.

 

yes, paintless dent removal will do the job, but be sure it is a good company..where as cheap ones will leave waves in the body.

I am just real careful, can't do much about other people hitting your car with their doors, well except kick their door in . I rather have it with the tin shell lighter
I havea ding on the top edge behind the antenna how the hell did that happen?
If you are scared to lean on it but there are times when you just have to, just lean on edges ie. where the door meets the quarte panel or the front bumper, stay away from big oven areas of the body.

 

I don't have any dings.....yet I do have loads of rock chips on the front bumper and some scratches in weird places though

 

had just one ding and got it fixed the same week, but as for the metal its real prone to dings and dents. I think it thinner then a pepsi can, Oh well ...

I have a couple on my passanger side, my car will probably be repainted or at least that side, so I´m gona let them fix the dings while they are at it.
The reason is I was just riding along on a 2-lane-in-each-direction freeway when this big jeep decides to go past me on my right side.. and I was on the right lane!!! needless to say, I got one hell of a rock shower over my CW

 

I hate getting things fixed on my car, someone always fawks it up an never leaves a note.

 

Remember, that thin sheetmetal helps keep weight down. If Rs were as thick-skinned as Bimmers, they'd be as heavy as them too.
