Default exhuast system HELP

First of all i drive a 96 CX HB. ok i just got new headers from ebay , high flow cat, and vibrant axel back. So I should get the vibrant mid section for 96-00 EX, right?? I read about this before.... THe thing is i submited a question to the vibrant tech supoort and he told me the get the midsection for the 96-00 DX/CX. THis is his response :

"In response to your question, I would suggest that you go with our part # 1759. This midpipe part is made specifically for your car and because of the way your exhaust system is routed, this midpipe will work the best for your application. All of the hanger locations are developed for your car and are critical."

If i got the CX/DX civic mid pipe, i would have to get it cut then welded, right? So would the vibrant EX civic mid pipe bolt on to the rest of my parts and fit well???

use the CX/DX mid-pipe, thats your car, EX will be longer. Also, if the tech support guy told you to get that one why question it? You won't need to get it cut/welded if you bought a header and cat exactly for your application. Everything should bolt right up.

Get the ex mid pipe. The dx/cx/lx midpipe is longer as is desigend for use with only the stock header/cat funky looking thing.
