here's the proplem, when i start my car up in the morning or whenever it's cold it drives perfect. after warming up to the regular temp it starts to bog a lil bit only when im accelerating. it also has a slow acceleration! on the freeway its smooth but stop and go sucks! i changed the ecu already, can it be the distributor?

it is something with the ignition system. Distributor would be a good place to look, is your car throwing any codes?

try changing the ignitor in the distributor, its a little box with three prongs on the bottom and one on the side.

bingo, I had the same problem. car would throw a code or sometimes shut off. when I tested the ignitor, it was cold it would test to specs. couldnt figure it out but swapped it, and the problem went away must be when it got hot it caused problems. worth a shot, I had a spare dizzy to get parts from, I would borrow one before buying one though.

If it is your ICM, you could always get a bling bling MSD unit and go ignitorless.
