Default Valve Cover Leak? any other locations and possible solutions to this?

hey guys...im due for a Timing Belt change soon... but today i popped the hood and noticed the area around my oil cap and near the distributor is wet... could it be anything else or just the VALVE COVER Gasket? everywhere else is fine...is this common on GSR's? and if i change the Valve cover gasket...will it be fine and dry again?

thanks guys...i just need to know... so far i bought the valve cover gasket..is there anything else i need to change around that area?

i have done a search on the integras on this forum and couldnt find this topic..so THANK YOU ALL INTEGRA OWNERS in advance...

If replacing the valve cover gasket, I suggest replacing the circular seals that go around the spark plug holes as well. I re-used them once on a 1st gen Integra, and they leaked like a sieve. Never again.

If the oil is near the distributer, another potential leak point is the O-ring on the distributer. I have never had any problems there, but replacing it isn't really that hard.

I would replace the valve cover gasket, spark plug tube gaskets, distributor o-ring (you'll need a timing light to adjust ignition timing after putting it back in), and maybe even the oil cap itself (it has a large o-ring-type gasket).

Another possibility is the valve cover washers that go under the nuts. Those are metal washers with rubber gaskets. Mine were leaking awhile back because the rubber on the old ones was very hard and cracking.

your parts store should have a valve cover gasket kit (it comes with almost everything)
