Need help with JDM Integra Type R cluster into my Integra Ls
whats goin on guys, i have a 1998 LS and i just bought a type r cluster but the gas needle and temp doesnt seem to work. my car is obd2 and the type r cluster is obd1 is from the 96 spec. anybody know how to wire it right? thanx for the help guys!

what I did when I swapped mine out was take the gauges out of the ITR cluster and put them in my LS cluster. Then I swapped the carbon fiber trim to my LS shell with ITR gauges. You have to keep the LS inserts though in the trim piece. Worked like a champ.

This is the easiest way to do it:
All you have to to make a OBD1 cluster work in a OBD2 car (or visa vera) is remove the green film on the back of the cluster and swap it with cluster you want to use. Takes about 10 mins.
The green film is held on by about 13 phillip head screws. Just take those off, switch it out, and you're good from there.
