Can i use a 92 civic ex OBD1 Vtec Engine harness for my 1992 civic cx with a b16a2????

Can i use a 92 civic ex/si OBD1 Vtec Engine harness for my 1992 civic cx with a b16a2???? I have an obd1 distributer already.

Yes, but you will still need to run the wiring for a knock sensor, everything else will be plug and play

im not using a knock sensor. I dont have a p30 ecu. i have a p28.

oh wait just realized it was an A2. You're gonna have to swap the plug housings from your alternator onto the A2's to be able to use it (.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v130/fobtions/alt.jpg). Also you're gonna want to get some injectors from at least an OBD1 DX/SI/EX for it to plug them in. Also you will have to run the intake air temperature sensor into the intake arm since the A2 won't have a place for it on its intake manifold.

i called a few places locally here in miami and they all said it should plug up perfectly fine.

OBD2 injector harness' are different from OBD1.

integra Injectors OBD2 im using on a OBd1 harness they seemed too work!

theres injectors the have the staple looking thing and theres some that have just the slide in clip!

OBD2 and OBD1 injector plugs are different. I had to rewire mine using a '97 B18C1 into my '92 CX.

ya but i could just use the clips off the harness im using now ill just sauder ( spelling) them together if anything. But i was told they clip in.

OPh **** i forgot i cut the plugs off a obd2 harness and wired them too my obd1 LOL........sorry for the confusion!

They won't. Yes you can rewire the clips to the harness. That's what I did.
