Default Tinting My Own Windows ...

I am replacing the glass on my driver side and passenger windows and I was wondering what the best way to tint my own windows [except for taking it to a shop]. Would I be better off just tinting them when the window glass is out and can cover all of the window, or do it after I install the glass? Please let me know your opinions on this, thanks!

tint the new windows while they're still out, makes things much easier.

that's what I figured, I just wanted to make sure that if I did that, the tint wont peel off when the window is rolled all the way up. thanks for the advice
