Just get one from spoiler depot, really nice quality, also they match your color. The spoiler without the paint from SD is about 1/6 of the cost of one from the factory.

yea but what are they made from? cuz i see some on ebay for $100 shipped but theyre made from high quality abs plastic, and i could probably get it painted for less than $160, and it would be cheaper, so unless if SD are made from polyurethane than ill buy from their.

why exactly would you want a spoiler made from urethane? its not a lip thats going to be hitting bumps and curbs. a fiberglass or plastic spoiler will work just fine. go for whatever's cheaper.

EBAY for the win. They have some nice ones for cheap and they should fit; they just feel cheap and light. After paint they should match and look good. If you wanted to you could total only at $140 and look good doing it. Any type of spoiler material should be fine, it wont be hitting anything much besides air?

But go OEM or JDM for those who are BALLERS $$ or those who are picky about thier parts.

sucks for the ballers when nobody can tell the difference between their oem jdm genuine type r spoilers that they spent a ton of money on and the ebay type r spoilers. like i said go for whatevers cheapest; they all look very similar.

No OEM part is fiberglass. They are all ABS plastic.

I actually just ordered a spoiler from spoilerdepot this week. It came in, and I was suprised at the quality of the piece and the paint. Anyways, I know it's not fiberglass for sure. But, it doesn't seem like the ABS I've felt in the past. ABS lips and other body parts usually feel more flexible. The spoiler has more of a harder plastic feel to it. Maybe a different type of ABS?

Either way it's plenty sturdy.

That and the fact that ABS plastic is so easy and cheap to manufacture compared to fiberglass.
