b18c5 w/1" deck plate...should i buy?
whats up guys,
i have the chance to buy a built type r block thats built.
BLOCK CONSIST OF:
TALL BLOCK IS SLEEVED AND BORED TO 86MM BY RS MACHINE AND HAS A 1 INCH DECKPLATE WELDED ON TOP
RODS CROWER STEEL H BEAM RODS WITH CROWER ROD BOLTS
ARAIS CUSTOM GAS PORT PISTONS WITH 6.3CC DOME
HASTING RINGS
95MM EAGLE CRANK
ACL BEARINGS
ARP HEAD BOLTS/STUDS
86MM COMETIC HEAD GASKET
all this for only 1800. i want this set up bad,and it looks promising,but i dont know what timing belt to run. ive tried searching and asking but nothing has come up. do you think this is a good deal and i should get it? and will the timing belt issue be a pain in the ***?

the important fact is not thats it's built...But built by WHOM...thats EXTENSIVE work done, and if the ones who did it arent experiened in that type of work, youd be in trouble...Dropped sleeve city...Did RS machines do ALL the work, or just what you listed by thier name??

yeah my bad, I was thinking stroke but typed bore. 
Still, a 1" longer stroke is a HUGE change. I don't know if that's a good idea to just slap an extra piece of metal there in between the head and block. Do you have to use 2 head gaskets with that??

the deckplate is welded onto the deck of the block. so i guess you would only need one headgasket.
