Default Rota Slipstream - What's the right offset?

I have rubbing in my front tires running Rota Slipstreams with 205/50/15 tires.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what my offset is supposed to be to prevent this? The car is dropped about .75" on h&r sports, so the drop is not the issue.

Where are you rubbing? I run +41 15x7 with 205 azenis(wider than most) and I only rub at full lock on the inside front frame rail. With +38 6.5" wide with same tires, I used to rub on the front and rear fender lips, I had to roll them both. +40 or more is what you want.

rota wheels are all +43. if youre rubbing its your car, not the wheel/tire.

what do you mean what is the "right" offset? are you going to "change" the offset somehow?

ok they are +40.

still at 6.5 inches wide, nowhere near enough to rub with a 205mm tire.

especially with a 3/4" drop. i know that you (the OP) said that the drop isn't an issue...

oh, and you can get slips with a +38 offset, too.

I'm just trying to get some insight on why my tires may be rubbing. It happens when I take corners, even if I'm not taking it all that hard. I can't tell where it may be rubbing. I can hear it from the front though.

could be the inside of the tire rubbing on the inner fender well or spring perch maybe, maybe because of the body roll your getting when turning it causing the car to rib the tire.

So couldn't I just use a thicker spacer to move the tire out a whee bit?

Are you running a spacer right now? I hope not!

Uh, I had them put on by a wheel place and they said it'd need a spacer to fit right.

i have +38mm slips w/ 215/40/16's, same springs as you, and no rubbing

sounds like the spacers may be the problem. i don't use spacers and it's all gravy

Hmm, when the place tried to put the wheels on without spacers, they found that the inside of the rim was being rubbed in a spot and all the paint was ripping off. You don't have that problem?

Crazy, I have the same brakes. I think I'll have my regular shop (not a wheel place) take a look.
